The collection was created in close collaboration with the young potter Sameh, a third-generation craftsman and one of TakeCaire’s artisan partners. He was trained at the now-famous Fayoum School, located in a small village in an oasis on the edge of the Nile Valley.
The series includes serving dishes, bowls, plates, and jugs.
“Foliage” is an ode to the surrounding lush nature.
